libclamav-client-perl software package provides Perl client for the ClamAV virus scanner daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libclamav-client-perl
libclamav-client-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libclamav-client-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libclamav-client-perl *
You will get with libclamav-client-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
